Serenity and Kenji

These are two of my OC's, Serenity and Kenji, when they were young. She was a great support for him to get through rough times. I wrote something while I was drawing it. It is about what was happening in the picture. It goes: /Serenity sat down close to a tearful Kenji. With one hand she lifted a small pile of cherry blossom petals and let them slip through her fingers. "See, Kenji, the leaves aren't afraid of falling. They just pick themselves back up and come back as beautiful trees." Kenji sniffled and just looked at the cherry blossoms. "They just fall because gravity tells them to fall." She blushed bright red and crossed her arms in a pouting manner. "That's not the point, Kenji!" He laughed and said, "I know." His laugh made her smile./
